Something to look out for. I helped out some newer NG members and did a little voice acting and music. Robam3's cartoon will have music and CALIFLOWER will have some voice acting. Now, then... back to work on my Mother's Clarinet Concerto before she gets too sick to listen to it...

Speaking of the concerto. It seems I'm writing orchestra songs that aren't very much related, but perhaps it's like when I wrote the symphony, it's more or less a few songs somehow sandwiched together using interludes and clever modulation. Nonetheless. I'm currently working on an interlude. To follow Saxophonal Affairs, a tenor sax and clarinet duet, to represent my Mother floundering between the two instruments as her middle school band teacher had her do before settling on clarinet and trumpet in high school. Following "songs left"

Middle School done, Finale clar/tenor sax duet needs composing

High School movement will feature a bombastic fanfare reminiscant of marching band repetoire used for halftime shows at school football games, then a clever symphonic work that could even be atonal, since Mom did practice the Rite of Spring and Mahler for those few years

The final movement will represent parenthood. How my Mother eventually "weened" off instruments since her children (me and my brothers) couldn't stand the loud piercing timbre of clarinet and trumpet/cornet. She wanted use to take up the instruments and play in band, but we simply weren't interested. These days, she's stuck in a wheelchair with a slew of physical conditions that frustrate her, hence why I write the concerto for her.

So that's the current happenings, helping out a few newer-grounders (see what I did there?), and chugging away at the concerto until it's finished because I hope my Mother'll hear it before she gets sicker. Thanks for reading everyone
