You did improve the text-drop, so that's good! Perhaps you could leave a forward arrow button instead of setting a time for each dialogue, that way the viewer can choose their own reading pace. Thanks for sharing and I'm glad to see improvement in the general vibe of the movie.

Thanks for the advice

Sprite animations are great and all, but posting clearly unfinished work that loops is not very fun for the viewer. It's better to make a blog/forum post here and upload the concept on YouTube or DeviantArt where there's more of a demand for this sort of video... or simply type "W.I.P." to the title. That's a way better solution than spouting "OH I'M NOT DONE" in the author comments.

Rather, make smaller "episodes" and call theme part 1, 2, 3, etc... viewers here don't mind a short episode if it's good and you can always compile them into a collection of full length movie afterwards.

I would like to see this finished. It seems like a cool concept. Also, perhaps use a different font, because it looks amateur. Music helps spice things up too. Feel free to browse NG's audio portal for royalty free music. Feel free to use my music ;) Thanks for sharing and am looking forward to the next installment.

Normally, test/practice animations are a no-go for the portal, but this is exceptional. Fine use of motion tweens and it's carefully designed. Since it's just a concept and not a full-fledged movie, I'll only give this a three. Great work for what it is. Thanks for sharing.

Bobblehob responds:

Thank you! My animations so far have all been in a similar format to this. I have a couple others, one of which I also uploaded today, and one which I will be uploading tomorrow once the submission timer resets. Is there a place on the portal here which would be suited to shorter animations like mine?

Speed drawings are almost always fun to watch. I feel it might fare even better on YouTube. As far as the video and the art work, I feel some music'd help make this video more fun. Feel free to browse NG's audio portal for some great royalty free music. Feel free to use my music ;)

I think the character's color scheme's overly-simplistic, but those are my tastes. I feel an X-Men vibe, like Storm and Mystique. Great effort, thanks for sharing. Put some music in though it'll make this more enjoyable to watch!

SarlechFROST responds:

Thank you so much for your feedback. I had music in the full video but i didn't think many would want to hear it. Regardless thanks for the feed back. I'm new on newgrounds so having had my first critique feels good.

Zach Liberman should get an account and get some credit for this. Great content and loved your music and it's use. A little Newgrounds culture thing; we really appreciate seeing things submitted by the animator/artist themselves and getting to know them. Also, consider adding some sample tunes onto the Audio portal if you want, you;ll totally gain a following for your music here. Thanks for sharing.

MickeyWilsonSFX responds:

Thanks again, Zach has now been added to the Credits & Info spot!

Everyone's got their art style, but I really wish you'd improve Sergio's mouth shapes. Basic "a-e-i-o-u" mouth shapes... Nothing wrong with having a style if this is what you truly enjoy but every single episode looks like it was made in 2003. Ignore what I'm about to say if you truly believe in your work; it's seems you could stand for some art and animation lessons. I recommend "The Animator's Survival Kit".

You make work because you enjoy it and you share for those who care to watch. That's fine and dandy. Maybe you realize the things that could really use improving in your cartoons. Personally, I can't stand them not necessarily because of the plot or voice acting, but because your art looks so elementary and it makes me cringe.

I don't know the exact limitations of TOON BOOM software, but every video's pixelated. You could probably do better than this. Keep practicing. Thanks for reading.

Hey, first I have the book you're talking about and the show improves by Episode 101 and onward! Thanks for letting me know and Have An Animated Day!

Normally, less-than 10sec. videos don't really belong on the flash portal, but this is exceptionally well done. It's an intro graphics, but if this is an intro graphic, then I'll be looking forward to what a completed project of yours'll look like. Thanks for sharing.

KingGooze responds:

I didn't know that, you see I'm not really on ng, but thanks for your info and comment

Even though it's just a concept, this is very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the completed version of this. Thanks for sharing.

Epic-Dave responds:

Hey, I've uploaded a new version its called "Return to the Moon". Please let me know what you think.

It's a fine scene, but NG's flash portal is not the place for a sub-ten second practice animation. I see potential as a meme maybe. This might be more appropriate and better regarded on YouTube, 4chan, or Vine.

Dtwentynine responds:

Thanks for the compliment. :)

Provide a better thumbnail, it's gives off the vibe of a crappy "practice animatinos" from a newer member of the site. Normally, a ten second clip is considered spam and not allowed, but this is beautiful. It's lacking a since of story, but it's lovely and well done. It's short. Thanks for sharing.

PatrickDomingo responds:

Thank you Tygu80s :)

I used to animate flash cartoons as a teen, but now I compose contemporary orchestral and classical music. Instruments I Play Guitar, Ukulele, and Clarinet/Bass Clarinet.
