It seems that you've mastered the art of the "trace the object for multiple frames to get the shakiness" concept.

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Ha ha Ty I would but thats actually insane! I actually select the object and click round or sharpen and it automatically distorts the lines. I think some people actually do that but just the thought gives me diarrhea!

1:35 I've heard of life grabbing you by the balls, but this is ridiculous. You're creative Chutney!

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Ha Ha Ty you beautiful bastard!

Maybe a satisfying "pfft" sound once the wacker hit the dookie. Otherwise, I think you've expressed what you wanted with this story. This has happened to me before but with a lawnmower.

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Thanks Ty! one day I will buy the foley equipment and make the sound happen in real life!

Despite the lack of color, you've managed to create something very enjoyable. The frame-by-frame's great; realizing the monochrome's the manga art style. I give a five because I think you've really captured what you're going for. Thanks for sharing :)

Flaxor responds:

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the thought you put into this review! I had a blast animating all those fast paced bits. When animating I really was looking to push the camera a little bit more than what I had storyboarded, even if that meant spending longer on each scene.
Only wish I had infinate spare time to clean up the roughness of the lines and put Sonic somewhat more on model while ironing out poses, adding frames etc.

Without accompanying an actual movie, this intro/teaser trailer is lackluster. It's probably best to have this intro solo in a YouTube where it'd be more accepted.

PolygonCartoons responds:

Yeah, next time I'll do that...

This is gorgeous. The animation's seamless.

ClayDay responds:

Thank you!

You're good at sprite animation! Perhaps use a more elaborate thumbnail, the characters on white gives a "beginner" impression. Thanks for sharing!

lucasjuncos responds:

Thanks

Please add music and sound effect. Many a good concept upload here is vanished by the lack of audio, leaving the viewer disappointed.

Trapped-In-The-Void responds:

again, it's not supposed to be a proper animation, if it was, I'd add sound effects and all that but it's not, don't expect any sort of quality from an animation I made in 5 minutes titled "When you lose your drawing tablet"

That intro is gorgeous!

Bobblehob responds:

Thank you! :)

Maybe some sound effects or a voice-over would make this into a crown jewel. The frame-by-frame's gorgeous and the art style is fun. Thanks for sharing!

Becky6996 responds:

I'm glad you'd like it. I think I'll add some "boing" sound effects, that could be fun!
Thanks!

I used to animate flash cartoons as a teen, but now I compose contemporary orchestral and classical music. Instruments I Play Guitar, Ukulele, and Clarinet/Bass Clarinet.
