Without music or sound effects, this becomes very boring; there's a gamut of royalty free music here on the Audio portal. Feel free to use my music. This could easily be a 2.5star cartoon if it had the right audio cues. In addition, the speech bubbles are not containing the captions so either change the speech bubbles or change the font type and/size. The art style is too simplistic and it's hard to discern where exactly the scene is beyond the light house. Is it a forest?

A preloader or an intro is always a nice touch. The concept could be well received if depicted well. The poor artwork and lack of audio render this potentially good cartoon into a unsatisfying piece. Keep practicing! I'm sure you'll create something cool in the future.

Please add music and sound effect. Many a good concept upload here is vanished by the lack of audio, leaving the viewer disappointed.

again, it's not supposed to be a proper animation, if it was, I'd add sound effects and all that but it's not, don't expect any sort of quality from an animation I made in 5 minutes titled "When you lose your drawing tablet"

This couldn't be anymore true. Foamy speaks the truth.

That intro is gorgeous!

Bobblehob responds:

Thank you! :)

Maybe some sound effects or a voice-over would make this into a crown jewel. The frame-by-frame's gorgeous and the art style is fun. Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you'd like it. I think I'll add some "boing" sound effects, that could be fun!
Thanks!

This isn't inherently sexual and no sexual conduct is depicted here, so this'd actually be considered a teen rating here on NG. Otherwise this was a cute video. Thanks for sharing.

I think upping the frame rate here'd give the movie a less choppy feel. Otherwise god sprite fight action fun. Thanks for sharing.

You did improve the text-drop, so that's good! Perhaps you could leave a forward arrow button instead of setting a time for each dialogue, that way the viewer can choose their own reading pace. Thanks for sharing and I'm glad to see improvement in the general vibe of the movie.

This isn't experimental... this is...

Sprite animations are great and all, but posting clearly unfinished work that loops is not very fun for the viewer. It's better to make a blog/forum post here and upload the concept on YouTube or DeviantArt where there's more of a demand for this sort of video... or simply type "W.I.P." to the title. That's a way better solution than spouting "OH I'M NOT DONE" in the author comments.

Rather, make smaller "episodes" and call theme part 1, 2, 3, etc... viewers here don't mind a short episode if it's good and you can always compile them into a collection of full length movie afterwards.

I would like to see this finished. It seems like a cool concept. Also, perhaps use a different font, because it looks amateur. Music helps spice things up too. Feel free to browse NG's audio portal for royalty free music. Feel free to use my music ;) Thanks for sharing and am looking forward to the next installment.

I used to animate flash cartoons as a teen, but now I compose contemporary orchestral and classical music. Instruments I Play Guitar, Ukulele, and Clarinet/Bass Clarinet.
