He's an inflatable beach ball now.

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Jeez Ty why are you so insensitive? Chutney is in a lot of pain because of his reverse chest hump cant you see?!

I'm hopping with joy right now.

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Ha, I knew you would!

Skinny dipping... actually I have no witty joke for this one. The subject's surrounded by roses, I take it she's a flower? I haven't a clue, but it definitely seems you've gone for what you were going for. Good work here Dico.

DicoBurdova responds:

thank you! ^^ funny, you're not the only one who interpreted it that way, i definitely like the idea! thank you for commenting!

Progress is being made here. The bottom half of the eye could be smoother. Maybe make the white sparkle balls transparent... Also, arteries encircle the entire eyeball, and they amass from behind it. Not to mention you totally forgot the tear duct. Check an anatomical graph next time you want to be realistic.

CALIFLOWER responds:

Thanks for the tip dude :)

Hard to tell he's jumping into a backflip. I said it in a previous comment. Study people's movement and precise ascertain what parts of their body move in what order in order to produce a realistic and immersive visual in your animations.

When people squat, their hips go back first not their spine. Look up squat exercise videos to see what I mean. Your frame-by-frame's not too bad, so just study people's movement's to get a better sense of what that looks like.

The key point to not getting blammed. Seriously, take note.

1.) Don't say "please don't blam". That's reverse psychology and the viewer will want to blam.

2.) If you're going with the black and white art style that's okay but then make sure your character movements are fine. If you haven't already, read "The Animator's Survival Guide". Big helpful hints on how to get movements looking accurate. You seem to have a good idea on how frame-by-frame works based on your gifs.

3.) You'll get better reception if you use a color scheme. I saw your anime eyes, so I know you know how to color and shade roughly. Doesn't have to be complicated but a tidy background that's colored fine should do well even if the characters are simple black and white stick-men. Consider the room's light source and where the shadows would drop.

4.) Put in love. Take your time. Add music (I recommend my track "Anew"; it's on my NG page), a preloader, sound effects if desired. It's a ten second cartoon so please make it beautiful. 10 sec. cartoons are normally an automatic blam in NG community. I know you can do it CALIFLOWER. It'll totally be worth it!

Side note I helped make this so if it's not beautiful I'll cry... a lot XD

CALIFLOWER responds:

Those are beautiful words

Maybe you could start a YouTube channel and have these gifs with voice overs and music it'd probably gain some views there.

Creepy, but fine as an artistic expression. Thanks for sharing.

The face is a little jarring for me but ultra-realistic. Given the color-scheme, I understand; that saxophone's dark enough I'd mistaken it for a bass clarinet from a distance. My favorite track of his is Impressions.

I used to animate flash cartoons as a teen, but now I compose contemporary orchestral and classical music. Instruments I Play Guitar, Ukulele, and Clarinet/Bass Clarinet.
